We're Fans: MyPublisher

***Alright TWBers, the jewelry without jewels giveaway ends today, so you know what that means. Get your entries in now before it's too late. The winner will be announced tomorrow.***

A few months back Nicole, who is not only a very good friend of mine, but also a friend of TWB, introduced me to MyPublisher. I'd used other online photo book resources before, but since this one was coming with a big stamp of approval, I figured I'd give it a go.

So what set me out on my online photo collaging journey? I was looking to assemble all of our wedding photo favorites into one clean album. Sure, our photog was putting together mini albums for us (and I'm dying to see the finished product!), but I was still hoping to pull something more comprehensive together myself. We'd whittled down the number of "must-have" photos for inclusion to somewhere in the 200 range, and with that, I was off.

I'm happy to report to all of you who haven't used the MyPublisher software yet that it's really easy to figure out and offers flexible layout and finishing options. A big pet peeve of mine (...everyone's?) is when photo programs take a long time to load, are finicky, or unexpectedly crash. But MyPublisher was a pretty smooth ride, even with stopping and starting the project over the course of several days. I also really like that they offer linen covers instead of leather, because I personally prefer the look of a softer fabric. Oh, and the lay flat page option is an offering that really gives a professional quality to the book.

Below is just a peek inside what my finished book looks like.

  1. I've used Shutterfly in the past and really liked it. Must look into MyPublisher though - I'm all for digi albums!
