Who said June was peak wedding season? Here at TWB, we're all about Fall brides! This time we have Katie, who took enough time away from checking things off her to-do list to tell us how she and fiancé Andrew are gearing up for their October wedding.

How you met -- We were in the same 4th grade class!
How long you've dated -- 8.5 years
How he proposed -- He surprised me with "a question" one night after work.
Wedding colors/theme -- Purple and pink.
Bridesmaids' dresses info -- Priscilla of Boston; purple, floor-length, chiffon.
Best part of planning -- The satisfaction of checking something off the list.
Worst part of planning -- Second-guessing our decisions. Or rather, only getting to pick one style, dress, venue, etc. There are too many options out there!
Most surprising part of planning -- The generous donations of time and skill from our friends and family.
Favorite vendor so far -- Our catering manager, Kim, from Jimmy Duffy's. Calm, patient, easy-going, and good-humored... she's basically everything we could ask for.
Places you registered -- Macy's and Williams-Sonoma
Any Do-It-Yourself (DIY) plans -- Do "Have-Your-More-Talented-Friends-Do-It" plans count?
Honeymoon Location -- Italy? We hope! Note to self: must book honeymoon. [TWB Note: The honeymoon has in fact been booked in the time since Katie so graciously shared these details with us!]
