The turkey induced coma is over, and we're back (although a day later than planned) with more web finds this week.
1. A fun alternative to displaying an engagement photo at the reception would be having a customized silhouette of the bride and groom made, which is created from a photo you submit. The silhouette design could really be used on anything from ceremony programs to dinner menus.
2. We loved the simplicity of these handmade, vintage style framed pieces of art. These bold statements could serve as inspiration for a less-is-more design theme at your venue, or a pared down invitation motif.
3. Stuck on a first dance song? Can't think of the songs that get you out on the dance floor when you're attending others' receptions? Looking for unconventional songs for the ceremony? Hit up Pandora to get your musical juices flowing.
4. We think this clutch from Jessica McClintock is perfect for a bride - it isn't too flashy but has enough detail so it isn't boring.
5. Stumbled across this compilation of expected wedding trends for 2010. We could (and probably should) dedicate a future post to debating the inner workings of the list. Some of the items that made the list are refreshing (hello, buttercream cakes). But remember, just because something is trendy doesn't mean you have to like it/use it.
