Two Web Belles: Brownie Points

1. Look at these thick layers of cake...I mean brownie...I mean cake, and tell me you wouldn't be counting down the minutes 'til the cutting if it were at the next wedding you attended.

2. Almost every type of dessert can go on a stick/be made into a pop these days, and the brownie is no exception. And with Intimate Wedding's instructions, having them dessert display ready is easy with the addition of melted chocolate and assorted toppings.

3. These brown paper bag table numbers from The Sweetest Occasion are perfect for an autumn wedding with their sweet cranberry filling. If you’re looking to swipe this DIY for use during a different season, just think about swapping out the material you put inside the bags. Not looking for table numbers? Just leave the imprinting of the numbers out of the mix, and you’ll have centerpieces ready to grace a table for any meal.

4. Of course the craft geek inside of me loves that this kraft paper table was implemented for a day of floral arranging, complete with designated calligraphed workstations. Using illustrative "place cards" directly on the paper is an informal way to assign seating for any small gathering, such as a bridal shower or dinner party.

5. There is something about the white numbers set against the chocolate brown burlap of these place mats from Craftaholics Anonymous that reminds me of vanilla and chocolate. Or maybe I’m just in the mood for some ice cream? Aren’t these mats a serious find, though? I’m thinking they could work as table numbers, if you placed your floral arrangement right on top and were sure not to cover up the number with guests’ glassware, the pesky bread basket, etc.
