A couple weekends back TWB took part in a baby un-shower. Another phrase that was being tossed around for the occasion was a faux-shower. Basically it was what a group of our college friends threw together to honor one of our own who is soon becoming a mama, but she wasn't into having the traditional "Babies 'R' Us Just Exploded In Here" shower. Of course once we collectively put our college-educated heads together...we came up with the idea of meeting in Baltimore for a casual brunch. There are a few things that we all have in common, but one of them is definitely our love of eating.
Besides enjoying the menu at Teavolve, which I think we'd all recommend if anyone is looking for a good brunch spot in Charm City, we were also treated to the cookie display from KieKie's Cookies shown below. Bonus points go to Lauren who toted these across many state lines so we could enjoy some edible blooms of our very own.
Nicole Sagui is the woman behind the apron at KieKie's, which is based in northern New Jersey. Go ahead and take a look at a few of her other delicious creations, and for any of you in that area be sure to keep KieKie's in mind the next time you're looking for that special edible display or favor.
